About Us

At NJ Osteopathic Manipulation we specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, rheumatologic, and neurologic conditions that cause pain and discomfort. We utilize Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), a hands-on treatment designed to alleviate musculoskeletal pain and address various health conditions. OMT includes over a dozen gentle yet effective techniques to align bones and restore function to muscles, joints, and fascia (connective tissue). Dr. Wing Quan’s expertise includes treating arthritis, muscle strains, tennis elbow, pinched nerves, back, neck, and shoulder pain, among other conditions.

Dr. Wing Quan is committed to identifying and addressing the root cause of health issues, rather than merely treating symptoms. She dedicates time to educating patients about their diagnoses and treatment options, and collaborates with them to develop personalized treatment plans. No referral is needed to visit NJ Osteopathic Manipulation. Relief is just a call away. Contact us today to schedule your appointment.

Dr. Kimberlee Wing Quan, DO | NJ Osteopathic Manipulation

Dr. Kimberlee Wing Quan, DO

Board-certified in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

Specialities- Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT)

Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) are fully licensed physicians who can practice any medical specialty just like MDs however DOs receive an additional 200 hours of training in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) during medical school. OMT training is a core component of osteopathic medical education. MDs generally focus on diagnosing and treating illnesses, while DOs take a more holistic approach, considering the body as an interconnected whole and emphasizing wellness through prevention and treatment.

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a hands-on approach to diagnose, treat, and prevent health issues by addressing structural and functional imbalances in the body. OMT is used to alleviate muscle and joint pain due to arthritis and injuries, potentially reducing the need for medication. It also improves flexibility and range of motion. OMT is used to treat back, neck, and shoulder pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines, sciatica, headaches, tinnitus, vertigo, and edema to name a few. OMT is beneficial for most people and most conditions. It is suitable for patients of all ages—from infants with torticollis, colic, or difficulty breastfeeding, to children with recurrent ear infections, and adults with simple or complex conditions. Dr. Wing Quan also does dry needling, cupping, and percussion and incorporates herbs, supplements, and dietary recommendations into treatment plans when appropriate.

Dr. Wing Quan graduated from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington and completed her residency at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia. She was also an adjunct faculty member at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where she taught Osteopathic Principles and Practices and Gross Anatomy Lab.
